Dale H. "Barney" Ross

Dale H. "Barney" Ross, 93, of Freeport, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021 peacefully, at Pine View Personal Care in Vandergrift. Barney was born in Freeport, PA on February 28, 1928, a son of Sarah Ross. He worked at Freeport Brick Company for many years. He served in the U.S. Marines as a private 1st class during WW II. Barney enjoyed arrowhead hunting, working and fixing electronic devices, reading and was a World War II history buff. Barney is survived by his adopted family; Connie A. Cornman, Karen Fennell, Rose Naughton and Jennifer Liti. He is preceded in death by his mother and aunt, Beulah Cooper At Barney's request there will be no public visitation and a private family burial will be held in Freeport Cemetery
