Daniel DiMeno Obituary

Daniel (Dan) A. DiMeno of Upper Burrell Township, formerly of Freeport, passed away peacefully at home on March 21, 2025. He was born on May 29, 1947, in Natrona Heights, to the late Anthony W. and Elizabeth (Cassell) DiMeno. Dan retired from Alcoa Technical Center as a Senior Staff Technician working in metallurgical research. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, attending musical theatre productions, cooking, reading, gardening, watching college basketball and football. He was a fan of the Steelers and Pirates. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 24 years, Monica (Matisko) DiMeno of Upper Burrell Township, his sister, Dana Chiesa of Freeport, his brother, David DiMeno of Springerville, Arizona, several nieces and nephews, along with numerous cousins and friends who will also hold his memory dear. Dan was a member of Holy Family Parish, Our Lady of Joy Church in Plum, Pennsylvania. Honoring Dan’s wishes, final arrangements and Mass of Christian Burial are private and entrusted to Redmond’s Funeral Home in Freeport. The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff of Monarch Hospice for the compassionate care and support they provided.
