DeAnna C. (Kutsch) Dickey

DeAnna C. Dickey, 81, of Buffalo Twp, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 4, 2022 while surrounded by her family, at her home. DeAnna was born in Tarentum, on December 21, 1940, The only child of the late Margaret (Aretz) and John Kutsch. She is the widow of Roy M. Dickey, Sr. who passed in 2021. DeAnna graduated from St. Joseph Catholic School in 1958. She was married to truly the love of her life for 63 years till they were separated upon Roy Sr's death. After raising four boys, DeAnna worked at Moonlight Mushroom and then Sylvan Spawn Lab. From 1987 to 1997 she was the proud co-owner and manger of MidWay Restaurant in Fenelton, PA. DeAnna enjoyed watching Jeopardy, working crossword puzzles, miniature schnauzers and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Mary, Mother of God Church in Freeport. DeAnna is survived by her four sons, Roy M. (Joye) Dickey, of Worthington; John (Beatrice) Dickey, of Sarver; Mark L. (Gail) Dickey, of Sarver; Eric (Jessica) Dickey, of Butler. She is also survived by 10 grand and 12 greatgrandchildren A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 am on Thursday, July 7th at St. Mary, Mother of God Church in Freeport, PA with Msgr. Gilbert Gente officiating. A private immediate family burial will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery Freeport, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to; St. Vincent de Paul 116 North Plaza Apollo, PA 15613
