Denise M. (DeMeno) Miles

Denise M. Miles, 65, of South Buffalo Twp., passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, June 20, 2022. She was born in Natrona Heights, PA on September 28, 1956, a daughter of the late Violet (Yannucci) and John P. "Banjo" DeMeno. Denise was a 1974 graduate of Freeport Area High School. She worked as a receptionist and secretary at Family Counseling Center in Leechburg. Denise was a member of St. Mary Mother of God Church in Freeport. Denise was a wonderful cook. She loved making homemade food and spending time with her family, especially her grandson. Denise is survived by her husband of 42 years, John H. Miles. Her son, John C. Miles, of South Buffalo Twp and her grandson, Camden Z. Miles. Denise is also survived by three brothers, John & Brenda DeMeno, of Freeport; Nick & Linda DeMeno, of Winfield Twp.; Michael & Gloria DeMeno, of Freeport. Her 2 brothers in laws, Melvin & Elsie Miles of Florida and William & Barb Miles of Connecticut. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews which she adored. Denise is preceded in death by her parents and her mother and father-in-law, Margaret & Harry Miles Family and friends will be received on Thursday, June 23rd from 2-4 and 7-9 pm in the Redmond Funeral Home Inc. 524 High St. in Freeport, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Friday, June 24th at St. Mary, Mother of God Church in Freeport, PA with Msgr. Gilbert Gente officiating.
