Dorothy E. Huston, 73, of Butler, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021 peacefully, at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Butler. She is formerly of Buffalo Twp. Dorothy was born in Natrona Heights on January 1, 1948, a daughter of the late Catherine (Reighard) and George German, Sr. She was the widow of David W. Huston, Sr. who passed in 2003. Dorothy grew up in Brackenridge and was a 1966 graduate of Har-Brack High School. She was a long time member of Center United Methodist Church in Fawn Twp. Dorothy was a past member of the Pioneer Hose VFD ladies auxiliary. She was a volunteer at the Freeport Senior Center. She and her husband had enjoyed square dancing and bowling together. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Peggy A. Huston, of Pickerington, OH; and her son David W. (Tamara) Huston, Jr., of Freeport. Grandchildren, Devon (Jayla) McMillin, Kylie McMillin, Alyssa Huston and her fiancée David McKay, Katheryn Huston and Rebecca Huston. Great grandchildren, Paxton McKay and Della McMillin. Dorothy is also survived by two brothers, George (Francine) German, Jr., of Saxonburg and David (Sue) German, of Shippensburg, PA and her sister, Kathy German, of Buffalo Twp. In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy is preceded by her brother, Howard German. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 from 3-6 pm in the Redmond Funeral Home Inc. 524 High St. in Freeport, PA. Funeral Service and burial will be private.
