Earl L. Scheerbaum, 82, of Buffalo Township, passed away at his home Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022, while surrounded by his family. Earl was born Feb. 18, 1939, in his family home in Buffalo Township, a son of the late Thelma (Stevenson) and Gustave Scheerbaum. He was employed as a truck driver at Allegheny Ludlum Steel for 35 years. Earl worked for W.L. Roenigk Inc. for 52 years as a bus driver, plow truck driver and anything else the company needed. Earl and his wife were active members of the Freeport Odd Fellows Lodge No. 379. He was a past Grand Master of the Odd Fellows. Earl enjoyed working and caring for his family farm. Earl is survived by his wife of 45 years, Elaine (Teeters) Scheerbaum; two daughters, Terri (Robert) Dorr, of New Castle, and Sherri (Thomas) Barone, of Cranberry Township; and his stepson, Eric (Tammy) Sterling, of New Kensington. He is also survived by seven grand- and 12 great-grandchildren. Earl was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Melvin Scheerbaum; and his sisters, Harriett Mackrell and Henrietta Garvin. A gathering of friends and family will be held on Saturday February 19th, from 10 am until time of the memorial service at 11 am in the W.L. Roenigk Inc. Bus Garage, located at 798 Ekastown Road in Sarver. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, P.O.
