Eva M. Artman Raith, 87, of Buffalo Twp., passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at her residence. Eva was born in the Pegtown section of Apollo, on February 20, 1938, a daughter of the late Stella (Mineski) and Samuel J. McCain. She was the widow of William E. Artman, Sr. who passed away in 2009. She was a notary public in Sarver for 30 years. Eva enjoyed gardening, playing cards, bingo, fishing and hunting. Eva is survived by her husband of 5 years, Gerald Raith, her son, William (Brenda) Artman, Jr., of Prospect; and three daughters, Belinda Artman, of Sarver, Gena (Chris) Artman, of Cabot; and Lori (Tom) Artman, of Apollo. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Besides her parents and first husband, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter Lisa Janoski, brothers Samuel J. McCain Jr. and George E. McCain, and her sister Helen Santy. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 4-7 p.m. in the Redmond Funeral Home, Inc. 524 High St. Freeport. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 1030 Pleasant Hill Road in West Leechburg.
