Fay L. (Fiscus) Hill

Fay L. Hill, 87, of South Buffalo Twp.., passed away after a 5 year battle with cancer on Tuesday, February 17th, peacefully at Saxony Health Center in Saxonburg. Fay was born in Kittanning on April 1, 1927. She was the daughter of the late Laura B. (Hartman) and Arthur Fiscus. She was the widow of Robert C. Hill who passed in 2010. She was a wonderful mother and homemaker. Fay had worked for a number of years for the Freeport Area School District in the cafeteria at the high school and South Buffalo Elem. She was a long time member of United Presbyterian Church of Freeport. Fay was a member of the Eastern Star for 50 years. She was also a long time member of the South Buffalo Twp.. Vol. Fire Dept. Ladies Aux. and the South Buffalo Grange #1908. Fay was and avid reader and enjoyed spend time with her family. Fay is survived by her daughter, Alma F. (Harry) Johnson, of Cabot. 2 sons, Eugene "Gene" (Janie Dickey) Hill of Willowick, OH and Eric B (Rebecca) Hill of South Buffalo Twp.. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren, Candy Sue (Frank) Huck of Pittsburgh and Robin Scott (Tina Koss) Johnson of Fenelton. and 2 great grandchildren, Lauren and Maxwell Huck. Family and friends will be received on Thursday Feb. 19th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.. in the Redmond Funeral Home Inc. 524 High St. In Freeport. Funeral service will be held in the United Presbyterian Church of Freeport, at 11:00 am on Friday, February 20th, with Rev. David Caves, Jr., officiating. Burial will be held in Greenwood Memorial Park in New Kensington, PA. Than family would like to thank Fay's niece, sister in law, neighbors, the Chicora Medical staff, Saxony Health Center and the VNA Hospice for all the care and compassion.
