Frank D. Booher

Frank D. Booher, 72, of Freeport, passed away at on Monday, May 2, 2022 while surrounded by his family, at Allegheny Valley Hospital. Frank was born in Natrona Heights, on August 19, 1949, a son of the late Dorothy N. (Ward) and Kenneth W. Booher. He was a 1967 graduate of Freeport Area High School. Frank worked for many years at Freeport Terminals, retiring in 2012. Frank enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating on the Allegheny River. Drag racing and working on Fords. He enjoyed raising chickens and loved his dog, Owen. Frank is survived by his wife of 52 years, Margie (Stull) Booher. His daughter, Jamie & Kurt Strazzer. His sons, Duane & Pam Booher and Shawn Booher. Grandchildren, Tyler & Allison Booher, Genevieve & Ryan McCauley, Zachery Strazzer and great grandson, Paul McCauley. He is also survived by his sister, Debra & Ronald Roush, Sr. Frank is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Tina Marie Venderlic.
