Frank J. Cordier, Jr., 86, of Buffalo Twp., passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021 peacefully, at UPMC Seneca Place in Verona. Frank was born in Natrona Heights, PA on June 27, 1934, a son of the late Marie (Rousseau) and Frank J. Cordier, Sr Frank worked as a lab technician at Alcoa Research and Development in Upper Burrell for 37 years, retiring in 1989. Frank was a Life Master in Duplicate Bridge. He had been a little league coach and umpire with the Freeport Little League Association. He enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Penguins and loved going to the horse races Frank is survived by his son, David F. (Regan) Cordier, of Buffalo Twp. and his daughter, Melissa C. (Michael) Kossler, of Pittsburgh. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, McKenna, Bryn and Sebastian Cordier. Frank is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Rene and Arthur Cordier and his Aunt, Helen Rousseau. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, January 28th from 5-8 pm in the Redmond Funeral Home Inc. 524 High St. in Freeport. A private family funeral service will be held and burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery in Natrona Heights, PA.
