Georgann (Davis) Carson

Georgann Carson of Buffalo Twp. passed away peacefully on December 12th, 2021. Georgann was born in Oakmont on May 28, 1936. She was the daughter of the late Catherine (Bell) Davis and Edward P. Davis. She was a 1954 graduate of Plum High School where she was a cheerleader. Georgann had worked at the Waldenbooks Store in the old Gee Bee Mall in Harrison Twp., Home Town Pottery in Freeport and was a volunteer at the Freeport Library. She was a loving mother and wife who enjoyed card club, cross stitch, knitting and spending time with her family Georgann is survived by her husband of 63 years, Guy B. Carson. Two sons Michael (Vicki) Carson, of Buffalo Twp. and Mark (Jill) Carson, of Buffalo Twp.; 12 grand and 20 great grandchildren and her sister, Ruth (Davis) Reichard of Plum Borough. Georgann is preceded in death by her brother, Edward Davis and sister, Betty (Davis) Schlarman. A memorial service will be held on Thursday December 16th at 11 am in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeport with Rev. Eric Damon officiating. A private burial will be held in Freeport Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church 323 5th St, Freeport, PA 16229.
