George Richard Saylor, 68, of Georgetown, PA, formerly of Lower Burrell, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Walnut Ridge Memory Care, Greensburg. Richard was born in New Kensington, on June 8, 1952, a son of the late Cecelia Irma (Woods) and George C. Saylor. He was a certified welder at Conrail for many years. Richard enjoyed boxing, playing pool, working out and weight lifting. He loved dogs, in particular his dog Buddy. He especially loved spending time with his grandkids. Richard is survived by his daughter, Nicole (Nathan) English, of Cabot, his son, Ryan (Riccia) Saylor, of Chicago, IL; 4 grandchildren; brother, Dale Saylor, of Lower Burrell; and his significant other Stephanie Kerns, of Georgetown, PA. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Heather Lynn Saylor. There will be no public visitation and a private family burial will be held in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 1100 Liberty Avenue, Suite E-201 Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
