Gregory L. Riggatire

Gregory L. Riggatire, 66, of Sarver, passed away on Wednesday, June 5th, at UPMC St. Margaret, Pittsburgh.

Gregory was born in Sarver, on November 15, 1957, a son of the late Joseph and Lillie A. (Cressler) Riggatire.

Greg was a 1975 graduate of Freeport High School. He was the owner of Omni Electric, a successful electrical contracting business in the Tarentum/New Kensington area for over 40 years. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church in New Kensington and the Sarver Volunteer Fire Company. He loved spending time with his family.

Greg is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Lori (Spohn) Riggatire, his son, Joseph Riggatire of Sarver, his daughter, Melissa (fiance, Tyler) Riggatire of Wexford, a sister, Barbara Belli of Lower Burrell, and a brother, Robert (Coralee) Riggatire of Leechburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step brother, Dee Charles Riggatire.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Friday, June 7, 2024 at Redmond Funeral Home Inc., 524 High Street, Freeport.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 10 am at St. Joseph's Church, 1125 Leishman Avenue, New Kensington, PA 15068. Everyone please meet at the church.

Interment will follow at Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
