Harry E. Brown

Harry E. Brown, 84, of South Buffalo Twp., passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020 peacefully, at The Orchard of Saxonburg. Harry was born in Natrona Heights on January 29, 1936, a son of the late Mildred M. (Bailey) and Murray Brown. He was the widower of Marion L. (Edwards) Brown who passed in 1999. After high school, Harry took a job with Braeburn Steel. Shortly thereafter, he was drafted into the US Army. When Harry received his honorable discharge from the Army he came back home and resumed his job at the steel mill, he retired after 32 years. Harry then went to work as a delivery driver for RC Auto Parts in West Tarentum and Advance Auto Parts in New Kensington. Harry enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and his dogs and family. He was a member of the Slate Lick United Presbyterian Church. Harry is survived by his 2 sons Robert E. Brown, of South Buffalo Twp. and Michael J. (Nancy) Brown, of Fawn Twp. Granddaughter, Kylie (Matthew) Pavlik of West Deer and his great grandchild, Kadyn Pavlik. He is also survived by his brother, John (Irene) Brown, of California. Harry is preceded in death by his parents, wife and sister, Sally Anderson At the family's request there will be no public visitation and a private burial will be held in Lawn Haven Burial Estates in Worthington, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to; Orphans of the Storm 11878 Pennsylvania 85 Kittanning, PA 16201.
