Heidi Dawn (Giesler) Bringenberg

Heidi Dawn Bringenberg, 57, of South Buffalo Twp., passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, while surrounded by her family, at Allegheny General Hospital after a battle with liver failure. Heidi was born in Butler on June 25, 1965, a daughter of the late Dolores L. "Honey" (Lincoln) and Wayne Giesler, Sr. Heidi was a 1983 graduate of Freeport Area High School. She was known for her contagious and loving personality and was rarely seen without a smile on her face. She most enjoyed being with her family, her friends, her dog Bentley, and of course the students and staff at South Buffalo Elementary School where she worked as the school's nurse for fifteen years. Heidi was an avid lover of country music, traveling and spending holidays with her family. Heidi is survived by former husband, Mark Bringenberg and their two children, Dakota (Shane) McNair, of Natrona Heights and Tanner Bringenberg, of South Buffalo Twp. Her sister, Penny K, (Denny) Bacher, of Cabot; two brothers, Wayne (Toni) Giesler, Jr., of Fenelton and Cody C. (Stacy) Giesler, of Aliquippa. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews; Kelly (Rick) Marley and Lennon Kimsey, Kayla (Jeremy), Adelyn and Emery Gugino, Kamryn and Zachary Giesler. Heidi was preceded in death by her parents, Dolores L. "Honey” and Wayne Giesler, Sr. and her niece, Megan Dietz Family and friends will be received on Sunday, November 6th from 1 to 5 pm in the Redmond Funeral Home Inc. 524 High St. in Freeport. Funeral service will be held at 10am on Monday, November 7th at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Cabot, PA with Pastor Emeritus, Barry Keurulainen officiating. Burial service will be held in St. Luke Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Lung Association 810 River Ave. Suite 140 Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
