Helen L. Baker, 90, of S. Buffalo Twp., passed away, Sunday, January 11, 2026. Helen was born in West Kittanning, on April 8, 1935, a daughter of the late Pearl A. (Shearer) and Kenneth L. Baker. She was the widow of John E. Baker, who passed away in 2007. She worked at several lumber yards in the area in the sales department. She later worked as a cashier at Sears in Natrona Heights. She was a member of Srader Grove Presbyterian Church in Freeport. Helen enjoyed camping, baking, cooking and was an avid sewer. Helen is survived by her son, David Jack (Carolyn) Baker, of South Buffalo Twp., grandchildren James (Jennifer) Baker, of Kittanning and Brian (Natalie) Baker, of Bruceton Mills, WV, 8 great grandchildren, Dakota, RJ, Wyatt, Logan, Madelynn, Rowan, Killian, and Lorraine. She is also survived by her sisters, Doris Gilbert, of Leechburg and Jean (John) Roudybush, of Worthington and her brother Ralph Baker, of Tarentum. Besides her parents and husband, Helen was preceded in death by her daughter Barbara Snyder, brother Karl L. Baker and sister Shirley A. Baker. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, from 1-3 p.m. in the Redmond Funeral Home, Inc. 524 High St. Freeport. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 3 p.m. A private family burial will be held in Greenwood Memorial Park in Lower Burrell.
