Helen Rock

Helen Rock, 70, of Mars, formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025. Helen was born in Pittsburgh, on May 18, 1954, a daughter of the late Mykola and Frances Marciw. She was the widow of Michael Rock, who passed away in 2014. She was a past member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in the North Side. Helen was dietary aide and housekeeper at Allegheny General Hospital for 20 years. She enjoyed tending to her plants and her dogs. Helen is survived by her son, Michael (Casie) Rock, of Mars, and her granddaughter Carolyn Rock. A private family burial will be held in Freeport Cemetery in Freeport. The family would like to thank the staff of Vincentian Home in McCandless and Rosebrook in Sarver for the care they provided during the last several years of Helen’s life.  Memorial contributions may be made to Orphans of the Storm 11878 Pennsylvania 85 Kittanning, PA 16201.
