Jacqueline (Jackie) Hoscheid, 81, of Freeport, PA, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at her residence.
Jackie was born in Manor Township, PA on May 22, 1942, a daughter of the late James E. Bowser and Laura (Gamble) Bowser.
She was a graduate of Freeport High School. Jackie was employed at the former Camerlo's Deli in Freeport. She was also a homemaker. Jackie was a faithful member of Evangel Heights Church in Sarver. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading and attending all of her grandchildren's activities.
She is survived by her children, Michele (Donald Jr.) Fox, of West Leechburg, Bari-Lynn Abatta, of Erie, John W. (Linda) Hoscheid of Sarver, Natalie (Mike) Joyce, of Freeport, and Dawn (Todd) Wiedl, of Natrona Heights. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother and sister.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 2-6 pm at the Redmond Funeral Home, Inc., 524 High Street, Freeport.
A funeral service will follow at 6 pm with Rev. John P. Kuert officiating.
Private interment will be held at Brookland Cemetery, Allegheny Township.
