James B. Brubaker, 78, of Allegheny Twp., passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 peacefully at UPMC St. Margaret hospital in Pittsburgh. Jim was born in Freeport on December 28, 1941, a son of the late Monagene (Lowers) and James W. Brubaker. He was the widower of Judith (McNabb) Brubaker who passed away in 2011. Jim was a 1960 graduate of Freeport High School. Before his retirement, Jim was employed as a station manager/operator for Glassmere Fuel. He ran the gas stations in Allegheny Twp., North Apollo and Oklahoma Borough. Jim was also an independent sales rep for Matco Tools. He was a member of Allegheny Presbyterian Church in Allegheny Twp. Jim was a life member and past president of the Allegheny Twp. Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Jim is survived by his two sons, Randall J. Brubaker, of Upper Burrell: Robert J. (Sandra) Brubaker, of Buffalo Twp. and his daughter, Jodi L. (Doug) King, of Allegheny Twp. His grandchildren, Jessica Brun; Matt Brubaker; Shane Brubaker; Sydney Brubaker; Spencer Brubaker; Hayli King and Abigail King. Great grandchildren, Camryn & Owen Brun. Jim is also survived by his two sisters, Judy Campo, of Miami, FL and Sandy Pulaski, of Roswell, GA, an aunt, sister-in-law, and many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews. At the family's request there will be no public visitation and a private burial will be held in Brookland Cemetery in Allegheny Twp.
