James W. Livingston, Jr., 73, of Freeport, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020 peacefully, at Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights. Jim was born in Natrona Heights on September 10, 1947, a son of the late Helen Winona (Jones) Livingston-Pugh and James Wade Livingston, Sr. Jim was a 1965 graduate of Freeport High School. After graduation Jim moved to Detroit, MI and was a foreman at the Chrysler Automotive Plant. After leaving Chrysler, Jim came back to the Freeport area and took a job at Ducco Ceramics in Saxonburg as a kiln operator for many years. Jim was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeport. He enjoyed going to Trinity Lutheran Church, wood working, his cats. Jim especially loved the holidays and spending time with his brothers and family Jim is survived by his 2 children, Joddie Felix and James W. Livingston, III. 4 grandchildren He is also survived by his 4 brothers, Russell Livingston, Sr., Richard (Chrissy) Livingston, Howard "Huck" Livingston, Michael Livingston & Jody Weiss and many nieces, nephews and cousins At the Jim's request there will be no public visitation and funeral service will be private. Jim’s family wants to extend special thanks to Jim’s health care aid, Larissa. Her dedication and compassion for Jim went well beyond the duties of her job! In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to; Trinity Lutheran Church 323 Fifth St., Freeport, PA 16229.
