Jennifer Dawn Weibel
November 24, 1975 – April 11, 2025
Jennifer Dawn Weibel passed away peacefully at age 49, on April 11, 2025. She earned her education from Freeport Area High School. She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend whose warm heart and quiet strength touched the lives of those around her.
Jennifer is survived by her two sets of loving parents, her father Jim Weibel (spouse Diane Weibel) and her mother Debbie Zellsman (spouse Tim Zellsman). Jennifer leaves behind her siblings, Julie Tutak Weibel, Corey Weibel, Cody Weibel and step-siblings Brandy Stanga and Tim Zellsman. Jennifer leaves behind her two adult children, Nicholas Goehring and Danielle Goehring, who were the light of her life. Her devotion to family was unwavering, and she found deep joy in the simple, meaningful moments spent with those she loved.
A passionate reader, puzzle enthusiast, and die hard Steelers fan, Jennifer found solace and delight in the worlds between pages and the challenge of fitting pieces into place. Jennifer loved the Pittsburgh Steelers with her whole heart. It wasn’t just a team to her—it was a way of life. She never missed a game. Ever. Friends knew not to call during kickoff. Animals also held a special place in her heart, but none more than her beloved dachshunds, Blue and Buster. Her home was always filled with wagging tails, tiny paws, and endless love.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her — both two-legged and four. No funeral or memorial services will be offered as Jennifer wanted as little fuss to her death and wishes to have her ashes scattered in the ocean.
