Jerry L. Urik, 66, of South Buffalo Twp., passed away Thursday, April 18th, at Allegheny General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Jerry was born in Natrona Heights, on October 12, 1957, a son of the late Dorothy L. (Barr) and Steve Urik.
He retired from (ATI) Allegheny Ludlum in 2021. Jerry enjoyed motocross racing, hunting, fishing, gardening, riding his John Deere tractor, going to the casino, playing golf and watching the Pittsburgh sports teams. He also enjoyed going to his granddaughter's softball games and going to the movies with his grandson Dylan.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 47 years, Tammy Jo (Kilgore) Urik; two sons, Mike (fiancee Heidi Tady) Urik, of S. Buffalo Twp. and Nick (Sara) Urik, of S. Buffalo Twp and grandchildren, Savanna Urik, Landon Beckett, Dylan Urik, and Kinsley & Aislyn Tady.
Jerry is also survived by his brother, Jeff Urik, of Allegheny Twp., two sisters, Janet Boehm, of Sarver and Joan (Rex) Rutkowski, of Freeport.
He was preceded in death by two brothers in infancy.
At Jerry's request, there will be no public visitation. Funeral services and burial will be private.
