Jo Ann (Bowser) Wagner

Jo Ann Wagner, 85, of Winfield Twp., passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022 peacefully, at Butler Memorial Hospital. Jo Ann was born in Freeport on February 3, 1937, a daughter of the late Leokadia H. "Lottie" (Uleski) Rotolo and Raymond J. Bowser. She was a member of Evangel Heights Assembly of God in Sarver. Jo Ann volunteered at her church and at Concordia Lutheran Ministries. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, quilting and flower gardening. Jo Ann is survived by her children, Ronald Thompson, of Buffalo Twp.; Robert Thompson, of Hiram, GA; William (Kay) Thompson, of Washington, PA., Janet Thompson, of Buffalo Twp., 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and her brother, Raymond Bowser of Buffalo Twp. and half sister, Betty Miller of Detroit, MI She is preceded by her first husband, Lynn R. Thompson, second husband, Charles L. Wagner, Sr. Sons, Donald & Dale Thompson, grandson, Jason Thompson, sister, Mary Lou Grossman and brother, Richard Bowser Family and friends will be received on Monday, February 7th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm in the Redmond Funeral Home Inc. 524 High St. in Freeport. Visitation will continue on Tuesday February 8th from 10-11 am at the Evangel Heights Assembly of God. Funeral service will be held in the church at 11 am with Pastor Dan Corfield officiating. Burial will be held in Butler Co. Memorial Park, PA .
