John R. Bagdon

John R. Bagdon, 76, of Winfield Twp., passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023 peacefully, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. John was born in New Kensington on May 4, 1946, a son of the late Stella (Succo) and Adolph Bagdon. John was a 1964 graduate of Valley High School. John worked for a number of years as a shoe store manager outside the city of Baltimore. After moving back to the Sarver area, John worked as a security guard for various companies. John enjoyed birds and raising parakeets. John is survived by his brother, Louis A. Bagdon, of Springdale. Niece, Anne Marie Bagdon of Cheswick, nephew, Mark & Pam Bagdon. He is also survived by a great niece, Jessica Bagdon and nephew, Eric Faulk. John is preceded in death his parents, sister-in-law, Sally A. Bagdon and his uncle, Henry (Pat) Bagdon. At the family's request there will be no public visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Butler Area Public Library 218 N. McKean St. Butler, PA 16001.
