Juanita Eileen (Kelly) Fullerton

Juanita Eileen Fullerton, 81, of Freeport, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at the Willows of Presbyterian Senior Care, Oakmont.

Eileen was born in New Kensington on January 9, 1944, the eldest daughter of the late Willard and Evelyn (Orris) Kelly.

A graduate of Springdale High School and the Allegheny Valley Hospital School of Nursing, Juanita dedicated her career to caring for others. As a registered nurse, she began her career in the NICU at Citizen General Hospital of New Kensington and later served as night nursing supervisor at Concordia Lutheran Senior Care, where her compassion and expertise touched countless lives.  She was a longtime member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church, Cheswick.

Throughout her life, Eileen was an avid reader, adventurous motorcyclist, enthusiastic walker, devoted student of history, and fierce champion of her family’s educational aspirations. Her love of learning and encouragement of others left a lasting impact. 

She was the beloved wife of Dennis Fullerton, sharing 60 years of marriage. Eileen is survived by two sons, Jeff (Sue) Fullerton of West Sunbury and Eric (Tracy) Fullerton of Pittsburgh; a daughter, Susan Fullerton (Patrick) Shirey of Sarver; four grandchildren; and a sister, Karen Anderson of Mercer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, William Kelly.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7, 2025 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Redmond Funeral Home Inc., 524 High Street, Freeport.

Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Robb officiating.

Interment will follow at Freeport Cemetery.
