Judith L. (Thompson) Wright

Judith L. Wright, 79 of Saxonburg passed away peacefully Friday, July 24, 2026 at AHN Allegheny Valley Hospital. Judy was born January 3, 1947 at Allegheny Valley Hospital. She was the daughter of the late George W. and Dorothy M. Thompson.

Her memory will be forever cherished by her husband of 59 years Jim Wright, her three children; Keith W. (Susan) Wright, Heather L. (Michael) Venesky & Matthew A. (Kelly)Wright; her eight grandchildren, Megan (David) Govan, Owen (Alli) Venesky, Drew Venesky, Mallory, Lindsay, Abbey, Aidan & Quentin Wright and two great grandsons Logan and Grady Govan.

Judy loved God and was a member of St Luke’s Evangelical Church in Saxonburg. She was a 1964 graduate of Freeport High School. Judy was active, at an earlier age, and served as president of the Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Department’s Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading, crafting and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her four siblings, George, Tommy, Richard and Robin.

There will be a Celebration of Life Ceremony at 10:00 AM on August 15, 2026 at St Luke’s Evangelical Lutheran Church , 310 W Main Street Saxonburg PA 16056.
