Kelly L. Birkmeyer

Kelly L. Birkmeyer, 54, of Freeport, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights.

Kelly was born in New Kensington on January 12, 1970, and was raised by her great-grandmother, Madela Kelly and grandmother, Vivian Best.

She graduated from Springdale High School and worked as a social worker for Ursuline Senior Services. Kelly enjoyed being outdoors, crafting, and spending time with her family and dogs.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Mark  Birkmeyer, son, Stephen Birkmeyer, and daughter and son-in-law Lauren and Dakota Harmon.

Friends and family will be received on Friday, September 20, 2024, from 4-7 pm at the Redmond Funeral Home, Inc., 524 High Street, Freeport.

A blessing service will follow at 7 pm with Father Ward Stakem, OFM Cap. officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to the GBS | CIDP Foundation International or Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh.
