Lucille L. (Anthony) Jones

 Lucille L. Jones. 71, of Leechburg,  passed away on  Tuesday, August 11th, 2026 at her residence.  

Lucille was born in Natrona Heights, on September 23, 1954, a daughter of the late Laura (Hughes) and Merle D. Anthony.

She was the widow of Ralph Wilson Jones Jr., who passed away September 20, 2025.

Lucille was a 1974 graduate of Freeport High School. She was a former member of the Freeport Ladies Auxiliary. She worked at a paper factory, cooked at a couple bars in town and also worked at the Pizza Hearth. She was a homemaker that loved to cook and bake for everyone! Lucille loved her grandbabies and enjoyed gas assing, camping, shopping, baby sitting and taking care of others.

Lucille is survived by two daughters, Sue Ann Jones of Freeport and Laura Jean Jones, of Leechburg. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Josh & Julie Hess, Chancelour Jones, Austin & Brianna Trefelner, Cheyanne & Kaiden Trefelner Graham, and Isiah; great grandchildren, Robert & Elena and Lydia & Ella-Jean, sister-in-law, Charlotte Anthony, brother-in-law, William Houtz and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Donna Rae Anthony and Merlene Houtz and her brother Donald Anthony.

Friends will be received on Saturday August 15, 2026 from 1-4 pm at the Redmond Funeral Home, Inc., 524 High Street, Freeport. A funeral service will follow at 4 pm.
