Mary Ann (Giandalia) Timney

Mary Ann Timney, 81, of South Buffalo Township, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at her residence. Mary Ann was born Nov. 9, 1940, in Chicago, Ill., a daughter of the late Pearl (Mercurio) and Peter Giandalia. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren. Mary Ann is survived by her husband of 28 years, Thomas A. Timney; two sons, Steven (Gay) Velette, of West Deer, and Michael Velette, of Pittsburgh; stepdaughter, Tris Ann (Michael) Gaydos, of Upper St. Clair; and stepson, Ti (Bonnie) Timney, of Charleston, S.C. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, James (Kaleigh) Velette, Jennifer (Ian Santi) Velette, Brendan Laing, Hannah Velette, Max Velette, Micha Gaydos, Tierra Timney and Travis (Lauren) Timney; and six great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Stephanie Allen. At Mary Ann's request, there will be no public visitation. Services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Freeport Area Library, 428 Market St., Freeport, PA 16229.
