Mary Lou Blair, 78, of Grove City, GA, formerly of Freeport, PA, passed away on September 13, 2022 after a prolonged illness. Mary Lou was born on July 25, 1944, the daughter of the late Roy E. Blair and the late Catherine (Henderson) Blair. She was a 1961 graduate of Freeport High School where she studied secretarial skills. She worked for many years as a secretary at Allegheny Ludlum and Atlanta Health System. Mary Lou collected Hummel statues and designed jewelry. She loved yorkies and was active with animal rescue and adoption. She is the sister of James (Kathy) Blair, Karen Blair (Joe) Egan, Michael Blair, and Pat (Cindy) Blair. A service will be held Saturday, October 1st at 10 AM, in the chapel of St. Mary’s Cemetery, Community Park Road, Freeport, with Pastor Eric Damon officiating. Internment will immediately follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley 730 Church St New Kensington, PA 15068.
