Michael S. Balentine

Michael S. Balentine, 55, of South Buffalo Twp., passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022, while surrounded by his family, at Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights. Mike was born in the Allegheny Valley Hospital on April 16, 1966, a son of Nancy L. (Parker) Balentine ( and Albert Ferney) of South Buffalo Twp. and the late William F. Balentine. Mike is a 1984 graduate of Freeport Area High School. He has spent the last 20 years working as a Field Foreman at Kukurin Contracting Inc. of Export, PA.  Mike was a founding member and President of the B.H.B Association. He enjoyed model trains, riding his side x side, going to the races at the Lernerville Speedway, enjoying time with friends on the golf course, spending time with his friends at Camp Piney Nook and just working. His greatest love was spending time with his family, especially his grandson. Mike is survived by his wife of 31 years, Cheri Lynne (Noble) Balentine. His daughter, Nikki L. (Jesse) McIntyre, of South Buffalo Twp., son, Nathan M. Balentine of Buffalo Twp., his grandson Tanner James McIntyre and another grandson to be born in April. In addition to his mother, two brothers also survive Mike, Mark A. (Tammy) Balentine, of Buffalo Twp, Bradley J. (Kelli) Balentine, of Henderson, NC. Also survived by two brother in laws, a sister in law and numerous nieces and nephews and a great niece and a great nephew. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, February 15th from 3 to 8 pm in the Redmond Funeral Home Inc. 524 High St. in Freeport, PA. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 16th at 10 am at the Evangel Heights Assembly of God in Sarver, PA with Pastor Dan Corfield officiating. Burial will be held in Freeport Cemetery Freeport, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
