Michelle Ann Mohney

Michelle Ann Mohney, 64 of Freeport PA, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2026 at Fawn Personal Care Home. Born in Natrona Heights PA on June 23, 1962, she was the daughter of Martha (Elder) and Joseph Cornuet. Michelle graduated from Freeport Area High School. Michelle had many jobs throughout her lifetime with her last job as a daycare provider, where she built many friendships with the parents of the children she cared for. Michelle loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her beloved companion Baxter. Michelle loved cooking and baking, as well as spending time with her family and friends in her pool. She enjoyed gardening with her husband Joe. Michelle is survived by her daughter Heidi Tady (fiance Mike Urik) of South Buffalo Township and her grandchildren Kinsley and Aislyn Tady, Savanna Urik, Kyler Greene and four other grandsons. Michelle is also survived by her mother Martha Cornuet of Sarver, PA, sister Cindy Cornuet-Furlong of Freeport, PA, niece Missy (Shawn) Burns of Freeport PA, nephew Micah Wood of South Buffalo, PA, as well as her great niece and nephews. Michelle is preceded in death by her husband of 11 years, Joseph Mohney, her father, Joseph Cornuet; as well as many aunts and uncles. At Michelle's request, there will be no funeral service, as her last request was to have her body donated to Science Care to aid in research for Alzheimers/Dementia.
