Mildred L. Sarver, 89, of Cabot, passed away peacefully Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries. She lived most of her life in Buffalo Township. Mildred was born in Kittanning Township, Armstrong County, Dec. 28, 1931, a daughter of the late Edna (Richard) and Charles Crownover. She was the widow of Morris L. Sarver, who passed in 2012. Mildred worked for many years at the old West Penn Hat & Cap Co. in West Tarentum. She had been an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeport. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mildred enjoyed time spent with family and friends, gardening, attending auctions and square dancing with her husband. She is survived by her two sons, Merle Sarver, of South Buffalo Township and Dean and Dawn Sarver, of Worthington; and her two grandchildren, Brady Sarver and Casey Sarver. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her four brothers, Wayne, Raymond, Lester and Charles Crownover; and her two sisters, Ocie Cribbs and Betty Young. At Mildred's request, there will be no public visitation and she will be buried alongside her husband at Greenwood Memorial Park in Lower Burrell.
