Nancy J. Beale

Nancy J. Beale, 73, of South Buffalo Twp., passed away peacefully on October 25, 2022, at Armstrong Co. Memorial Hospital in Kittanning. Nancy was born in Natrona Heights on July 15, 1949, a daughter of the late A. Lucille (Decker) and Richard E. Beale. Nancy was 1967 graduate of Freeport Area High School. She worked for a number of years at Moonlight Mushrooms in Worthington. She then received her certification as a special needs paraprofessional and began working for the Freeport Area School District.  She was a member of the Audubon Society and the National Wildlife Federation.  Nancy enjoyed gardening, crafting, bird watching and feeding, old western movies and spending time with her family. Nancy is survived by her sisters, Carol and Don Farester, of Kittanning; Sandra and Guido Ravotti, of Freeport and her brother, Bill Beale and Debbie Brucker- Beale, of Brackenridge. She is also survived by eight nieces and nephews, sixteen great nieces and nephews and 2 great-great nephews. Nancy is also survived by her longtime companion, Richard Mellish. At the family's request there was a private family visitation and funeral service held at Redmond Funeral Home Inc. in Freeport Nancy was buried alongside her parents in Greenwood Memorial Park Lower Burrell, PA.
