Nicholas C. Thorpe, 20, of Natrona Heights, passed unexpectedly at his home on Monday, March 20, 2023. Nick was born in Pittsburgh on July 12, 2002, a son of Cheryl M. (Clark) and Shawn A. "Snuffy" Thorpe, of Natrona Heights. Nick attended Highlands High School and received his GED in 2021. Nick worked in the grocery department at the New Kensington Giant Eagle. He enjoyed gaming and hanging out with his friends. In addition to his parents, Nick is survived by his brothers, Jacob Z. Thorpe of Natrona Heights, Timothy McKay, of Blawnox. Sister, Debra, wife of Greg Cummings, Sr. of Pittsburgh. Paternal grandmother, Sally (Humes) Thorpe, paternal step grandmother, Connie Thorpe and Maternal step grandmother, Sandy Clark. He is also survived by his niece, Riley Cummings and three nephews, Greg Cummings, Jr. and Jackson and Karter McKay. Six aunts; Shari & Ken Montgomery, Stacy & Jerry Rosenburger, Melody & Ron Gunniers, Shannon Clark, Andrea Clark and Heather Clark. Nick is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Charles E. Thorpe and his maternal grandparents, Maryann Clark and Andrew Clark. Family and friends will be received on Friday, March 24th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm in the Redmond Funeral Home Inc. 524 High St. in Freeport, PA. Funeral service will be held at 11 on Saturday, March 25th at in the funeral home with Pastor Nick Chybrzynski of Generations House of Worship in Brackenridge officiating.
