Norma Jane Stanoski, 93, of Cabot, formerly of Freeport, passed away Saturday, November 18th, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot. Norma Jane was born in Natrona Heights on October 27, 1930, a daughter of the late Dena (Getty) and Louis Poretti. She was the widow of Leonard Stanoski, who passed away in 2004. She was a clerk for Freeport Water Company. When she and her husband moved to Cleveland, she worked in the security department of the G.M. Plant for 10 years. She was a member of St. Mary, Mother of God Church in Freeport. Norma Jane enjoyed vegetable gardening and reading. She is survived by numerous cousins. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Joseph C. Poretti. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 PM on Tuesday, November 21st at St. Mary, Mother of God Church in Freeport, with Msgr. Gilbert Gente officiating. A private family burial will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery in Freeport. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Mother of God Church 608 High St. Freeport, PA 16229
