Pauline (Piovesan) Sliviak, 92, of Allegheny Twp., passed away Friday, January 28, 2022 surrounded by her family at Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights. Pauline was born in Greensburg, PA on November 14, 1929, a daughter of the late Pauline (Salet) and Carlo Piovesan. She was a 1947 graduate of Greensburg High School. She worked as a waitress at Fox Chapel Golf Club. Pauline had also worked as a waitress for the Pittsburgh Field Club. She was also a seamstress for Riedbord Brothers, in Apollo. Pauline enjoyed vegetable, and flower gardening. She like to cook and to watch cooking shows. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of St. Mary, Mother of God Church in Freeport, PA. Pauline is survived by children, Janet Sliviak, of Baltimore, MD; Rose Sabattini (Jim Haller) of Baden, PA; Joyce Sliviak (Gary) Edmondson , of Allegheny Twp., Diane (Robert) Grant, of Freeport and Gregory (Ruth) Sliviak, of Pasadena, MD;. 17 grand and 28 great grandchildren. Pauline is also survived by her sister, Hilda Damico of Slickville and her sister in law, Florence Piovesan of Export, PA. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara P. Sliviak, son and daughter in law, Walter & Lisa Silviak. grandson, Stephen Dillinger, great grand daughter, Zarah Sliviak. Siblings, Louise Panigall, Augusta O'Shell, Dosline Kapusta , Eleanor Balest and Charles Piovesan Family and friends will be received on Friday, February 4th from 5-8 pm in the Redmond Funeral Home Inc., 524 High St. in Freeport, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Saturday, February 5th at St. Mary, Mother of God Church in Freeport, PA with Msgr. Gilbert Gente officiating. Burial will be held in Brookland Cemetery in Allegheny Twp. Pauline's family would like extend their thanks to Rosebrook and Alle-Kiski Hospital for the care they provided over the last three years. The family respectfully would like to ask all visitors to please wear a mask when coming to the funeral home.
