Regina Ann Crytzer (Gamble) age 95 of Sarver/Freeport passed away on July 14, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. “Sis” was born April 13, 1930 in Laneville, PA to her parents Homer and Regina Gamble. Regina’s life was dedicated to her large and continually growing family, regularly keeping in touch by phone and hosting holiday gatherings. She never had a driver’s license but had no problem getting around to participate in numerous family sporting events, shopping, volunteering at Meals on Wheels and nightly drives through town with her husband Harry. She was known by all for her never-ending patience, love, care and affection for her family. Her signature chocolate chip cookies were a staple and the most requested item at all family gatherings. Among her many roles, Regina will long be remembered as the reigning champion of the kitchen floor game of Jacks and 500 Rummy. She is survived by her husband of 75 years, Harry J. Crytzer, her seven children, Daniel (JoAnn) Crytzer, Keith (Colleen) Crytzer, Carol Crytzer, Kurt (Kay) Crytzer, Kent (Marlene) Crytzer, Tracy (Robert) Garcia, and Kelly (Don) Pastoria. She is the beloved grandmother “gram” to 25 grandchildren and great grandmother “2gram” to 26 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Elizabeth "Doll" DeLeon, Donna (Wayne) Brown, Karen Gamble, Donald “Butch” (Ethel) Gamble and Robert “Bob” (Cathy) Gamble and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Eleanor Huth, Patty Gamble, Carol Micholas and Cindy Harbison and her brother Homer “Sonny” Gamble. Friends will be received on Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 2-7 pm at the Redmond Funeral Home, Inc., 524 High Street. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025 at 11 am at the funeral home with Rev. Darlene Ryniec officiating. Interment will follow at Freeport Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Freeport Meals on Wheels, 211 Fourth Street, Freeport PA 16229.
