Richard G. "Dick" Hill, Sr., 84, of Buffalo Twp., passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 while surrounded by his family, at his home. Dick was born in Brackenridge on September 18, 1937, a son of the late Edith V. (Hoak) and Richard B. Hill. Dick was a 1956 graduate of Har-Brack High School. After high school Dick went to work at the local Kroger Grocery Store. He then took a position in research and production at PPG Industries in Creighton. Dick worked there for 30 years and retired in 1999. He was a member of Guardian Angels Parish in Natrona Heights. Dick was a proud member of the CLOA Club in New Ken. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting. Dick loved spending time with his family, especially his grand and great grandchildren. Dick is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Phyllis C. (Valek) Hill. Two sons Richard G. "J.D." Hill, Jr., of Buffalo Twp.; David M. and Kami Hill, of Buffalo Twp. Daughter, Amy S. and Gary Morrison, of South Buffalo Twp. His grandchildren, Carly & Jake Roenigk, Jared Hill, Hill, Tyler & Karlee Hill, Travis & Taylor Hill, Tanner Hill, Emily & Edward Germy, Gary Alan & Sarah Morrison. Great Grandchildren, Ellie, Elena, Eliza, Carter, Addyson, Harper, Hadley, Violet, Nora and Cheyenne. Dick is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Martha Marshall. At the family's request there will be no public visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Thursday, August 11th at Guardian Angels Parish in Natrona Heights, PA with Father Aaron Kriss officiating. Burial will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery Freeport, PA. Dick's family would like to thank Brenda and Nick of Good Samaritan Hospice for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul 214 West 7th Avenue Natrona Heights, PA 15065.
