Robert W. "Bob" Brant, 76, of Freeport, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, while surrounded by his family, at Concordia of Fox Chapel. Bob was born in Natrona Heights on July 30, 1945, a son of the late Martha C. (Lobaugh) and Addison W. Brant, Sr. Bob was a 1963 graduate of Freeport High School. He joined the US Navy and served on the USS Intrepid during the Vietnam War. After his service to his country, Bob returned to Freeport, earned his insurance license, and began his career as a Prudential agent. He ran his office in Buffalo Twp. for 48 years, retiring in 2020. Bob was a past FASD school board member and a member of the Freeport Eagles. He enjoyed watching the Steelers and Penguins. golfing, working, and spending with friends and family. Bob is survived by his wife, Denise Geisler. Daughters, Courtney (Michael) Conti, of Orchard Park, NY; Brandi (Brad) Arnold, of Valencia and his son, Chase (Melissa) Brant, of South Buffalo Twp. Grandchildren, Reece, Aidan, Keegan, River, Charlotte, Tyler, Lauren, and Ivory. Robert is also survived by his brother, Donald W. (Maxine) Brant, of Mogadore, OH. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, son in law, Timothy Lubiniecki. Brother, Addison W. "Wayne" Brant, Jr. and his sisters, Lynette Brant, Susan Brant, and Mary Lee Nevitt Family and friends will be received on Friday, December 10th from 2-4 and 6-9 pm in the Redmond Funeral Home Inc. 524 High St. in Freeport. Funeral service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, December 11th at Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeport, PA with Pastor Eric Damon officiating. Burial will be held in Freeport Cemetery Freeport, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Orphans of the Storm 11878 Pennsylvania 85 Kittanning, PA 16201.
