Rose F. (Sikora) Sikora-Evans

Rose  F. Sikora-Evans, 90, ofAllegheny Twp., passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at RosebrookAssisted Living in Buffalo Twp.  Rose was born in Pittsburgh, PA on August 21, 1929, a daughter of the late Marianna (Gramatyka) and Martin Sikora.  She was a 1947 graduate of Freeport High School.  Roseworked as a glass inspector at Liberty Mirror/Pilkington in Brackenridge for 35years.  Rose had also worked part time for River Forest C.C. in Allegheny Twp., Camerlo'sDeli in Freeport,  for Brestensky’s MeatMarket in Allegheny Twp.  When she wasn't working,  Rose enjoyedcooking, baking, gardening, working on her family farm and just spending timewith her family.She is survived by her daughter,Victoria and Anthony Trettel, of Allegheny Twp.  Her 2 grandsons,Christopher Trettel and Martin & Heather Trettel and 2 great grandsons. Rose is preceded in death by her 2brothers, John & Martin Sikora and an infant sister. A private family visitation was held in the Redmond Funeral Home Inc. in Freeport.  A public Mass of ChristianBurial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 14th at St. Mary, Motherof God Church in Freeport, PA with Rev. Fr. Gilbert Gente officiating. Burial will be held in St. MaryCemetery in Freeport. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to;Freeport Library Association 428 Market Street.
