Roy M. Dickey Jr.

Roy M. Dickey Jr., 66, of Worthington passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026.

Roy was born in New Kensington on August 18, 1959, a son of the late Roy & DeAnna Dickey. 

Roy spent his entire career in carbide maintenance between SinterMet Inc. and PennUnited Technologies. Roy was a member of St. Mary Mother of God Church in Freeport. Roy enjoyed traveling with his wife, Joye “Sugar”, boating on RJoye, spending time at their Dunkirk, NY lake house and hunting. Most importantly he loved his time with his grandchildren.

Roy is survived by his wife of 46 years, Joye (Gohn) Dickey; daughter, Kristen (Jason) Stone; grandchildren, Isabella and Isaac Stone; step grandchild, Jacob Robbibaro. Also survived by three brothers John (Beatrice), Mark (Gail), and Eric (Jessica). 

Visitation will be held at the Redmond Funeral Home, Inc., 524 High Street, Freeport, on Thursday, July 30, 2026 from 6 to 8pm. 

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary Mother of God Church in Freeport on Friday, July 31, 2026 at 10am with Father Vincent Concepcion officiating. Everyone please meet at the church.
