Roy M. Dickey, Sr., 82, of Natrona Heights, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 4th, 2021 with family at his side. Roy was born in Butler, on June 15, 1938, a son of the late Hazel (Carter) and John Dickey. Roy was the youngest of 7 children. He was a graduate of the HarBrack High School class of 1956. Roy was married to the love of his life for 63 years. He was a member of St. Mary, Mother of God Church in Freeport. Roy was a supervisor at Liberty Mirror in Brackenridge for over 20 years. He enjoyed hunting and classic cars. He loved his family, doing projects around the house and shooting the breeze on the porch with Bucky. Roy is survived by his wife of 63 years DeAnna (Kutsch) Dickey; four sons Roy M. (Joye) Dickey, Jr., of Worthington, John (Beatrice) Dickey, of Sarver, Mark (Gail) Dickey, of Sarver, and Eric (Jessica) Dickey, of Butler. He is also survived by 2 grandsons & 8 granddaughters; 7 great grandsons & 4 great granddaughters; sister Ellen Marie "Dolly" George, of Chicora, and 2 nieces & 4 nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers John Dawson Dickey and Ralph William Dickey, and 3 sisters Ellen Marie Dickey, 1st Lt. Mary Louise Hughes, and Helen Marie Cypher. A private family visitation will be held. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 6th in St. Mary, Mother of God Church with Monsignor Gilbert Gente officiating. Burial will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery, Freeport.
