Sharon Lee Biehl, 79, of Baldwin, passed away January 14, 2024. She was born November 15, 1944 in Allentown to John and Charlotte (Miller) Nomides and was 1 of 3 children, her younger brother John Nomides preceded her in death in 2013. She was educated through Pittsburgh Public School and attended South Hills High School. Sharon was a long-time employee of Benkovitz Seafoods, first as a cashier then as a fish cutter. She enjoyed the work but enjoyed the customers more. She always made friends with her pleasant personality. On May 15, 1965, she married her longtime friend and love, Larry Biehl who preceded her in death in November 2020. Sharon loved playing bingo, shopping, listening to music and she especially enjoyed going out to eat and did so weekly with her son, Greg. She enjoyed playing cards and traveling with her husband. They later in life traveled to Pearce Arizona where they resided for a short time before she returned to live out her days in Pittsburgh. Sharon was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She also loved her role as Grandma and Great-Grandma. She had a sweet, endearing personality and always enjoyed the presence of others. She is the loving and devoted mother of Greg Biehl of West Mifflin, Larry Biehl of Budingen Germany, Kirk Biehl and wife Sheila of Spring Garden. Sharon is also survived by her sister Alexis Nomides and partner Joan Nomides of Pearce Arizona. Her grandchildren Ashley and Amanda Biehl of Jupiter Florida, Christopher and Dustin Biehl of Budingen Germany, Amber Biehl of North Versailles and Quinten Biehl of Spring Garden; plus 2 great grandchildren Josiah Charles and Saiyde Biehl. She will be sorely missed by her family and a simple ceremony will be held privately at a later date.
