Shirley A. Baker, 77, of South Buffalo Twp., passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot. Shirley was born in Natrona Heights, on May 23, 1948, a daughter of the late Pearl Anne (Shearer) and Kenneth L. Baker. She graduated from Freeport Area High School, class of 1966. Shirley was a duty manager at Jamesway Dept. Store in Kittanning for 24 years. She then went to Lyndon's Market in Freeport where she was a baker and deli worker for 18 years. She was a member of Srader Grove Presbyterian Church in Freeport. She enjoyed baking, making wedding cakes, traveling and taking care of her nieces and nephews.
Shirley is survived by three sisters, Helen Baker, of Sarver, Doris Gilbert, of Leechburg, Jean (John) Roudybush, of Worthington, her brother Ralph Baker, of Tarentum and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Karl Baker.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday December 28, 2025 from 1-3 p.m. in the Redmond Funeral Home, Inc. 524 High St. Freeport. A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation at 3 p.m. with Pastor Robert Hindman officiating. A private family burial will be held in Greenwood Memorial Park in Lower Burrell.
