Susan Elizabeth (Lynch) Buday

Susan Elizabeth (Lynch) Buday, 85 of Buffalo Twp. passed away peacefully on Monday, April 18, 2022 at Amber Woods At Harmar Village. Sue was born on May 18, 1936 in Natrona Heights to the late Dorothy (Robb) and Alvin Lynch, Sr. She was the widow of Ronald A. Buday who passed in 2004. Sue attended Tarentum High School, where she met and married her sweetheart, Ron. They built their home in Buffalo Twp. and were lifelong residents there. They hosted many neighborhood block parties every summer, a tradition that has continued to live on the neighborhood today. Sue graduated from Allegheny Valley Hospital School of Nursing and was a Registered Nurse at AVH for over 30 years. After her retirement, she volunteered as a Red Coat at AVH in various departments. She was a faithful member of Guardian Angels Parish in Natrona Heights. Her hobbies included crocheting, walking, camping, boating, baking, card parties and reading. She prided herself in her family the most and that was her true love for life. Sue is survived by her son, Dennis (Chris Ann) Buday of River Forest, daughter, Dorene (Keith) Irlbacher of Catawba Island, OH. 2 grandchildren, Marissa (Joe) Andrasy and Matthew (Jessie) McGuire and 7 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Alvin (Mary Jane) Lynch, Jr. and her sister, Sandy (Bob) Natchie. In addition to her parents and husband, Sue is preceded in death by her daughter, Denise Buday-McGuire, her brother David Lynch and her Step-mother, Evelyn Lynch. Family and friends will be received on Thursday April, 21st from 2-4 & 6-8 pm in the Redmond Funeral Home Inc. 524 High St. in Freeport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Guardian Angels Parish in Natrona Heights in on Friday April 22nd at 10 am. with Father John B. Lendvai officiating In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to; Transitions Hospice 200 Cedar Ridge Dr., Pittsburgh, PA 15205 and/or Elms at Amber Woods, 715 Freeport, Rd., Cheswick, PA 15024.
