Susan E. Wetzel

Susan E. Wetzel, 67, of Richmond , IN died peacefully in her sleep after a long 35 year illness on Monday, September 20th, at her home. Sue lived most of her life in Buffalo Twp., Butler Co. Sue was born in Natrona Heights on February 22, 1954, a daughter of the late Audrey (McFadden) and Merle B. Wetzel. Sue was a 1972 graduate of Freeport Area High School. She worked as a picker at Moonlight Mushroom Winfield Twp. Sue had been a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeport. She loved her dogs and spending time with her family. Sue is also survived by her two brothers, M. Lynn Wetzel, of Richmond IN and Charles B. (Cheryl A.) Wetzel, of Buffalo Twp. She is also survived by 2 nieces, 4 nephews and 13 great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Sue is preceded by her nephew Eric Wetzel and her sister in law, Kelley (McCullough) Wetzel. At the family's request there will be no public visitation and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 323 Fifth St., Freeport, PA 16229
