Thomas Edward Uptegraph, 88, of Saxonburg, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2026. Thomas was born in Freeport, on September 12, 1937, a son of the late Roberta E. (Kutsch) and Joseph F. Uptegraph. He worked for Conrail for 20 years and later was a state railroad inspector before retiring due to medical reasons. He also served 24 years in the Army Reserves, retiring in 1997. Thomas was a member of Worthington Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed watching westerns, the Pirates and Steelers, and spending time with his family. Thomas is survived by his wife of 43 years, Bonnie L. (Russo) Uptegraph; three daughters, Cindy (Les) Tricou, Ronda Overly, and Terri (Hugo) Araque; two sons, Mike Berkoben, and Thomas (Michelle) Berkoben; 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and his brother, Jack (Marie) Uptegraph. He was preceded in death by his parents, his paternal grandparents, maternal grandparents and his daughter Michele Berkoben. Family and friends will be received on Monday, June 15th, from 2 p.m. until the time of services at 5 p.m. in the Redmond Funeral Home Inc. 524 High St. Freeport with Pastor Robert Hindman officiating. Burial will be held in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association 1100 Liberty Avenue, Suite E-201 Pittsburgh, PA 15222 or Wounded Warrior Project 875 Greentree Road #700 Pittsburgh PA 15220.
