Toni Ruzbacki Obituary

Toni Ruzbacki, a beacon of generosity and passion, left this world on January 8, 2025, at the age of 97 in Butler, PA, after a life marked by vibrant interests and dedicated service. Born on January 1, 1928, in Freeport, PA to Alexander and Teresa (Fameli) Yerace.   Toni lived a life that exemplified thoughtfulness and a zest for adventure.  Toni's educational journey included a Master's in Counseling from Clarion University, a testament to her commitment to growth and helping others. Her professional life was diverse and impactful, serving as a Trucking Safety Director at Weleski Transport, where she was instrumental in ensuring the safety of countless drivers over the years. Toni's entrepreneurial spirit shone brightly as she managed R & R Tax Services, guiding many through the labyrinth of tax preparation with her unparalleled expertise and care.  Beyond her professional endeavors, Toni's interests painted the picture of a life lived fully and joyously. An ardent sports enthusiast, she enjoyed golfing, perfecting her swing, bowling, and getting out in nature. Toni's love for flying soared as high as the planes she admired, and her passion for football was as strong as her throw. Her love for nature, peace and beauty was profound.  Toni's generosity extended beyond her hobbies and career. She was a woman who gave endlessly, not only to her family but to all who crossed her path. She was a pillar of strength and kindness, leaving a legacy of love and commitment that will be cherished by all who knew her.  She is survived by a loving family that includes her son Stephen Ruzbacki, foster son Patirck Holmes, her grandchildren Alexander J. Ruzbacki and Serena M. Stone, and her great-grandchildren Arlo and Avery Ruzbacki, Delaynie, Lilliana, and Talia Stone. Each of them carries a piece of Toni's indomitable spirit, her generous heart, and her passionate soul.  Toni's final act of passion was her hunger strike, a testament to her unwavering convictions and her lifelong commitment to standing up for her beliefs. Her departure on this protest was a poignant end to a life that always placed principles at the forefront.  Toni Ruzbacki lived a life that was as full as it was long. She touched lives through her work, her hobbies, and her boundless love. While she will be deeply missed, the memories she created will continue to inspire and guide those who were fortunate enough to know her. Toni's story is not one of sorrow, but one of celebration—a celebration of a life well-lived and a woman thoroughly loved by the many people she loved and cared for.
