Wendy E. Bouch, 78, of Freeport, passed away on Thursday, April 16, surrounded by her family. Wendy was born in Alameda County, California on October 8, 1947, the daughter of the late Letty (Reed) and Herbert Williams. She met her husband, Bob, working in a printing shop in Key West Florida where she was also a member of the Guild Hall Gallery of Key West. Wendy and her family moved to Freeport, PA in December of 1988. There she worked for a nationally known gift company as an artist and designer until she opened her own art gallery, Presents of Mind, in Freeport. She was a frequent participant at local art shows and festivals before she retired. She also wrote and illustrated her own children's book along with illustrating books for over 100 hundred authors. When Wendy wasn't creating beautiful things, she loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Wendy loved the universe and everything in it. Wendy is survived by her husband of 44 years, Robert L. Bouch, her sons, Veat (Laura} Neal, of Poulsbo Washington, Sadhana (Christy) Neal, of Natrona Heights and River (Bryanna Geagan) Neal, of Freeport. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Gabriella Neal, Grayson Neal, Amanda (Isaiah} Alvarez , Jeremy (Kate) Babinsack, Anna Huet, Ella Huet, Briel Neal, Luke Neal and great grandchildren Able, Eden, Jasper & Saylor. Wendy was laid to rest on Saturday, April 18 at Slate Lick Cemetery in Slate Lick with family present. There will be a memorial service for friends and family on Sunday, April 26th from 2 p.m. until a time of remembrance at 3 p.m. in the Redmond Funeral Home, Inc. 524 High St. Freeport. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Wendy's name to a charity of one's choice.
